Being innovative has multiple facets, but two factors play the lead roles in our innovation aptitude: our ability to deal with emotions; and our ability to deal with uncertainty. Both of these positively affect our innovative thinking skills.

There are a few ways for you to train your brain to be more innovative over time. General mindfulness, understanding your own emotions as well as improving your working memory will help enhance your innovation capabilities.
